Senior NodeJS Developer

Engineering Vietnam (Remote/Hybrid) (Remote) Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior NodeJS Developer to lead backend initiatives for our global clients. You will be responsible for designing high-performance APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring system scalability using the NestJS framework.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable server-side applications using Node.js and NestJS framework.
Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring strict type safety with TypeScript.
Optimize database performance using ORMs (TypeORM/Prisma) and raw SQL for complex queries in PostgreSQL.
Implement microservices communication patterns using Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka or AWS SQS).
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (Jest) to ensure code reliability.
Configure CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployments on AWS (Lambda, ECS).

Qualifications

5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years focused on NestJS.
Deep understanding of Node.js event loop, asynchronous programming, and memory management.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) patterns.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS cloud services.
Familiarity with caching strategies (Redis) and distributed system challenges.
